Discover Ecuador Trips
As we are confirming all 3 Discover Ecuador trips, we now have 6 extra spaces for the Galapagos. Given the logistics behind this trip, we need to confirm numbers by the end of this week (Thursday, October 31). If you would like to book one of those spots, please let me know and refer to this letter with all information including the payment page. We will only consider the payment of the deposit  as a formal commitment for the trip. First come, first served. Thank you.

IB Corner
A reminder that we will be holding our annual Extended Essay Gallery Walk on November 5 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. to showcase our seniors work on their EEs. This is a very long and demanding task and it is an excellent opportunity to show the community the hard work our seniors have done on this key IB task.

Message from Mr. Voeller and Ms. Keyes Voeller

AC High School Students and Parents:

After 5 amazing years at Academia Cotopaxi, Delaney and I have decided that this will be our last year at AC. In 2015 we joined this community without knowing how much Cotopaxi would become a part of our lives.  Living and working in Ecuador has enriched us both as professionals and as humans. We will never forget the people we have worked with and the students and families that make up the Cotopaxi community. During this time our family has grown by two adopted dogs and our first child, who was born in Ecuador. The quality of the professional experience we have received here and the reputation of AC enables us to look for new experiences at schools throughout the world. We are forever grateful for our time here and will miss the AC community in the next chapter of our international teaching careers.

Sincerely, Brian Voeller and Delaney Keyes Voeller.

Thank you,
Fred Bordaguibel
High School Principal
