Dear Parents,
We are now two weeks away from the semester 1 exams. We are getting closer and closer to the end. Let’s all make sure that we all finish strong. December 9 is the cut off date to submit any missing assignments. Students who still have incomplete assignments need to work on those this week. Busy times ahead.

Thanksgiving Drive
Thank you for all of you for contributing to our annual Thanksgiving drive. It was a great success and we can’t wait to deliver those boxes to the Zumbahua community. More information will be shared about this later.

Fiestas de Quito
The High School students have been preparing for our annual HS Fiestas de Quito Assembly on Wednesday, December 4 at 1:30 p.m. in the AC Auditorium. You are all invited to enjoy the show. 9th graders are working on legends about Quito, 10th graders are working on the history of the foundation of Quito, 11th graders are working on characters of Quito and 12th graders on the Quito traditions. Please note that the event will be run in Spanish. This event will also be an opportunity to congratulate the winners of our annual cuarenta tournament that started last week and ended today. This year 106 people joined in the tournament. This is a record. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday to celebrate our beautiful city of Quito. ¡Qué viva Quito!

Games will resume next week with the Semi - Final Round for Girls Soccer and Boys and Girls Volleyball for all categories.

  • Swim Team News

Our Swim Team closed their season hosting the Invitational Cougar Cup Swim Meet last Wednesday with the participation of SEK Los Valles, Julio Verne and ISM. This week, 9 members of our Swim Team are traveling to St. Paul, Minnesota to compete in the St. Croix Swim Meet. This is the second time that our team has been invited to this event and it promises to be a great experience for our athletes.

Thank you,
Fred Bordaguibel
