Understanding and Supporting your Child's Executive Functions

Executive functions are cognitive processes that develop over time and parents can support them by being  frontal lobe surrogates. They are of critical importance for learning, socialization and independence.  In this 60 minute session we will answer 3 questions for parents: What are executive functions?  Why are they important to understand? How might you support them at home?
