Dear HS Community,
Thank you for a successful round of Student-led conferences last week. The High School has been busy with the PANMUN conference, the different volleyball and soccer games, the NHS induction ceremony, 60+ students attended a representation of La Casa de Bernarda Alba at Teatro Patio de Comedias) and on Friday, report cards are out on skyward.
This week is short week. After this, we are have 5 weeks and 4 days before the exams start… Good luck everyone!
November 1 is an Early Decision/Early Action deadline date for some 12th graders applying to University. If your son or daughter is thinking of applying Early Decision/Early Action on November 1st, please make sure they have talked about this with Mr. Wasser before pressing “send.”
Parade of Nations - October 31st
The 2nd Annual Parade of Nations is right around the corner. It will be very similar to last year and will be in the morning 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31st. Parents are invited to watch and participate, so please come wearing colors/dress/accessories of the nation you wish to represent.
HS Yearbook photos: November 5th and 6th
Our annual photographer visits will be on Monday November 5th and 6th. Students have been notified when their photos will be taken and we are asking them to wear their AC Polo shirts that day. Thank you for supporting this.
Grade 10 IB and College Counseling Information Night
Our first International Baccalaureate and College Counseling night will be Monday, November 19th from 6-8pm in the Auditorium. This will be for parents and students and will be about one possible path for students to take as they enter 11th grade. SEMESTER 1 Exams
They are scheduled between December 14th and December 19th. Make ups on 19th and 20th. No early exams will be given.
