At Academia Cotopaxi, our goal is to provide hands-on artistic experiences that empower students to explore the creative process and understand what it means to bring an idea to life. We equip learners with the technical skills they need to practice, refine, and master their craft, while also nurturing their capacity to lead, collaborate, and inspire within their communities. Through meaningful engagement in the arts, we develop confident, imaginative thinkers with the tools and courage to become the creators of their own dreams.

Arts Learning Across Divisions

Elementary School (PYP connection):

In Elementary School, we deepen connections with the Primary Years Programme (PYP) by intentionally integrating the arts into classroom learning, creating richer and more meaningful experiences for our youngest artists.

Secondary School:

In Secondary, our aim is to introduce students to a wide range of artists, techniques, and foundational skills that shape what it means to be a creator. We guide students in constructing and developing their own artistic work, cultivating an aesthetic eye and a deeper appreciation for art. Most importantly, we support students in discovering and refining their own artistic voice.
